Confirm the proposed make and model where relevant, who supplies it, and whether your own equipment can be used. Avoid assuming a pictured product is included.
Installation and additional work
Clarify routing, access, any excavation or restoration, and whether panel or service work is part of the proposal. Ask how newly discovered work will be approved.
Permits and coordination
The proposal should explain applicable permit, inspection and utility-coordination responsibilities. Requirements depend on the property, project and jurisdiction.
Payment, scheduling and changes
Ask about the payment schedule, appointment process, project dependencies and changes to the scope. An estimate request alone is not a confirmed installation appointment.
Warranty and support
Manufacturer coverage and workmanship terms are separate. Request the applicable documents and the responsible provider for each.
